Two days, Four countries

Gotta love New York!
One recent afternoon I met Nancy and Peter, friends from Boulder, to spend the day together.

We started with a drive through Little Italy

to arrive at the Eldridge Synagogue for a klezmer concert. It was a great concert, fun music, a little bit of yiddish thrown in and all set in a beautiful historical setting.

We walked around the corner for a delicious dinner in China Town at a dive restaurant, WoHop.

I was up'n'at 'em early Monday morning to head back to spend the day with Sheryl, another Boulder friend!!

YUM!!

We went to Uruguay for coffee and pastries, then to India to buy a summer tunic. We stopped at Dosa's Delight for delightful, and delicious!, dosas.

We ended the adventures with a stroll through a peaceful Metropolitan Museum and a breathtaking view of New York from the roof top garden.
